Chris, you know I was wondering the same thing as I viewed the show last night.ironically,I am usually watching Nightline unless one of my favorite musical guests is on Letterman.I usually tune in to Dave or Jay Leno for their frequently hilarious monologues before the guest appearances.I just happened to catch the preview that President Clinton would be on and kept it tuned to CBS.I stuck around the Letterman show after Clinton’s appearance and got a pleasant surprise and some stunning comic relief with Rock’s appearance.
For the record, even though I was just a little taken aback by the raw candor of your remarks,I appreciate you speaking up on the show before millions of television viewers. That was obviously not scripted. My other question is where are all of the faithful Democratic supporters who should be saying something and demonstrating their support “out loud”?
BTW,you were not alone in your observations.I first watched the former Prez give lukewarm support for Obama on the View earlier in the day.His banter with Whoopi was endearing. He during that segment, while not entirely enthusiastic, predicted Obama would win. However,it appears,by the time he got to the Letterman show he was near cool…
Courageous call out.Very spontaneous. And for that reason you are a Creativessel Inspiration for sure.
Peace,
